ConversionsΒΆ

A website or app is developed to let users do specific interactions. Examples of these interactions could be:

  1. Purchase a product
  2. Subscribe to a newsletter
  3. Register as a user

All of these interactions have special meaning and knowing how often these interactions happen is important. Often they are used as key performance indicators for the business.

In Harvest Collect we call these special interactions conversions.

In the Harvest Console it is possible to create conversions and link them to tracking components.

This way you can say:

  • If funnelStep X (Checkout-Success) is triggered by a user, then conversion Y (Purchase completed) is done.
  • If funnelStep Z (Newsletter subscription-Success) is triggered by a user, then conversion Q (Sucessful newsletter subscription) is done.
